The power in your hands

Its Election Time – Can words swing an election?

Election-mania has gripped the nation, and in all honestly, the choice we make on Election Day really do have an impact on our quality of life. So this week, we take a break from our usual programming to look at politics for a moment and ask an age-old question, “Do the words used by the media to cover a candidate really influence voter sentiment of that candidate?”

We talk with Dr. Teenie Matlock and Dr. Caitlin Fausey who have researched this issue and come up with some interesting conclusions. You will want to join us to discuss.

Also, we look at social media and social networking’s role in changing the way elections and political campaigns are contested today.

If you plan to vote this November (or late October for those of you in Early-Voting states), you will want to tune into this episode. Join Us and share your thoughts on the state of political campaigns today in America. Tune in Thursday at 4pm Eastern to the VoiceAmerica Business network.
